Ostozhenka street office
This office project of 129, 27 sq.meters was very interesting for the Bureau. The space was located in a historic mansion in the down town of Moscow within 7 minutes’ walk from the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
The task was to keep the ambience of the ancient mansion but at the same time to provide office space with spacious and cosy negotiation rooms. Natalia Legotina decides to implicate the mansion architectural façade décor with the office interior. This idea resulted in round entrance hall with antique columns. High ceilings give the space light and smart appearance.
Natalia Legotina’s signature design technique of matching unusual colors is evident here in combination of light greens with dark brown, copper and brick red colors. The greens were chosen by purpose for their effect of simulation of brain activity. Natalia specially designed for the director’s office the spectacular cabinet with dragons. Natalia picked various textures and materials to make the whole space look elegant and cosy: silks, linen, velvets, embossed leather, bronze, mirrors, concrete tiles, bushed wood and Chinese lacquer. Designer chandeliers were carefully chosen to dress up the office atmosphere.
Despite the classic design, the office looks quite modern and eclectic.
